What is counselling?

Counselling or therapy (used interchangeably) is about providing you with a safe and supportive space for personal exploration into your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and relationships. It provides you with the opportunity to gain insights into your challenges, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth. From working together, you can expect to receive tailored support that addresses your unique needs, empowering you to make positive changes to improve your overall well-being. Through open dialogue and expertise, counselling aims to facilitate healing and enhance life satisfaction.

What to expect at your session

  • Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes and is conducted in person (Cambridge central) or remotely, either over telephone or with video using Microsoft Teams.

  • The fee is £50.00.

  • To get started, you can book a free 15 minute telephone consultation with me so that we can discuss your individual needs and goals, and decide whether we feel we can work together in a way that will truly benefit you. 

  • After this, we can book regular sessions at a pace that works for you. There is no limit to the amount of counselling sessions you can have. Therapy is such a personal process driven by you.
