  • I am based in Cambridge centre, offering in person and remote sessions.

  • I offer a FREE 30 minute initial consultation to get to know one another, and hopefully answer any questions/concerns.

Meet Emily

Trauma therapist

Hello, I'm Emily!

I’ve practiced as a counsellor for 7 years, working extensively with survivors of sexual violence at Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre. Alongside this I work at the University of Cambridge and run The Hope and Healing Group, which is a support group for survivors of abuse and harassment.​​

My integrative approach is compassionate and client-centred, ensuring that you feel safe and understood as we work through your experiences together. I use evidence-based approaches like trauma focused CBT, and skills rooted in person centred and psychodynamic theory. 

I believe in the power of clients own  resiliency, and utilising this towards further healing and growth. I want to hear your story.

Together we can explore what it really means to regulate and self sooth, using techniques and theories to guide the work.
